LOGIC by Medeco® offers security through digital masterkeying. It functions like a mechanical lock with the added advantage of access control with audit trail. Keys and cylinders can be easily reprogrammed with different access permissions or schedules. Lost keys are simply deactivated. Logic electromechanical cylinders  retrofit existing mechanical cylinders and leverage the use of existing hardware without any door/frame modifications. No electricity, hardwiring, phone, or internet connection is necessary. 

Upgrade your existing hardware...The easiest and most effective security enhancement you can make is to upgrade your existing hardware with Medeco premium high security rim or mortise cylinders. Regardless of how durable your door hardware is, if it can be compromised by the use of an unauthorized key or by drilling a substandard cylinder, it has not protected anything. Many have trusted Medeco rim and mortise cylinders to retrofit into a lock to protect all types of buildings and homes. Medeco3 mortise and rim cylinders feature UL 437 Listed physical strength components like the triple locking technology for ultimate pick resistance, and solid brass construction with strategically placed hardened inserts to thwart attack with a drill.

Offering increased security with rapid combination changes, interchangeable core cylinders enable quick and easy cylinder changes by non-technical personnel using a special control key to remove the cylinder (core) from the lock housing. A core with a new combination can then be inserted, which in effect rekeys the lock. All of this can be done without having to take the lock apart, which reduces the expense of calling outside service personnel to perform routine lock rekeys.

Medeco has more knob style cylinder variations than all other cylinder manufacturers combined. Medeco3 premium high security knob-type cylinders incorporate  UL437 Listed patented high security technology with triple locking mechanisms and drill resistant inserts. Constructed of solid brass, these cylinders are used in cylindrical locksets, deadbolt locks, and padlocks of other major manufacturers to provide unmatched security.

Midwest Security Products has written proprietary software for the sole purpose of tracking key records and key duplication. This allows Midwest to manage your company’s lock and key program on-line. We currently track over two million codes in our system, each code being unique to a specific company or individual. In addition we also track who is authorized to order replacement keys and locks using our Authorized Signature Program. All customer signatures are digitally stored so we can tell in an instant who is authorized to order replacement locks and keys and, more importantly, who isn’t. 

When it comes to placing orders, we know not everybody ends their day at 5:00, which is why we offer web-based ordering for those customers who want 24/7 access for placing orders. All orders are handled through our own on-site data center with secured servers which allows us to customize web pages based  on individual customer needs and wants. This in-house technology give us the ability to ship quickly,                        greatly reducing our lead times.

While managing keys on site is essential to a high security locking system, it can be a headache. The solution is the  Security Asset Manager (SAM), which will track all of your keys electronically. No more manual logs or wondering who has what ring of keys. In addition the keys are secured on a tamper proof ring which eliminates the threat of  a single key being removed, duplicated, and returned.
